In cases of very strong gusts of wind or the blowing in of loose objects, windows can break, leading to damage to both the greenhouse structure and the crops.The horticultural business 'Les Serres du Val' experienced the consequences of extreme weather conditions. They were hit by a massive tornado in April and a severe hailstorm in June. Unfortunately, such weather events are not uncommon.
